Ph.D., Brigham Young University

Dr. Stewart is a former middle and high school science and math teacher. He is a licensed Utah State Principal and received his M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Foundations from Brigham Young University. He also holds a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation and worked with Utah’s Division of Wildlife on the Great Salt Lake and Strawberry Reservoir projects. His current research interests are studying the challenges faced from isolation and remoteness by rural school administrators and the benefits of experiential practices within traditional classrooms.
