Amy taught in elementary schools for five years, and has more recently been teaching pre-service teachers for six years. She enjoys teaching mathematics methods through hands-on manipulatives in the college classroom, and hopes to see the focus of hands-on math teaching transfer to the elementary classroom during field supervision of her students. Her research interests include pre-service and in-service teachers’ affective influences on mathematics teaching, mathematics curriculum integration, and applying technologies to teacher field supervision.
